DeepGulf 2007, one of the leading technical conferences and exhibitions welcomes the Offshore Oil & Gas Industry to visit New Orleans - one of the world's great deepwater technology centers. The Offshore Industry continues to play a critical role in the re-development of New Orleans and is happy that DeepGulf 2007 becomes the first major deepwater event to take place there since Hurricane Katrina. The host, Devon Energy, leads a long list of Operators and Contractors who have crafted a world class technical program, focused on the challenges involved in the development of the Deepwater Gulf of Mexico.

As this year's theme, "Gulf of Mexico Deepwater Projects ... Lessons Learned ... Current Challenges ... Future Trends" illustrates, the technical program focuses on all the challenges surrounding one of the world's most challenging environments ... the Deepwater Gulf of Mexico. DeepGulf 2007 will bring to New Orleans a projected 1000 attendees and $1.2 million dollars in economic impact. 2007 marks the first time DeepGulf has been held outside of Houston.
