FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
October 22, 2007

World Workplace 2007 Conference & Expo in New Orleans, Oct. 24-26

WHAT: The International Facility Management Association’s (IFMA) World Workplace 2007 Conference & Expo

WHERE: Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, New Orleans, Halls A-C

WHEN: Wednesday, October 24, through Friday, October 26, 2007

DETAILS: Long recognized as the world’s premier educational and networking conference for facility managers, World Workplace brings industry leaders from the world’s top business and government organizations together with educators and exhibitors to focus on the future of the built environment. IFMA designed World Workplace as a collaborative forum for facility managers and those in related fields to network, share best practices, demonstrate new products and grow — both personally and professionally. Because IFMA recognizes the continued importance of sustainability, World Workplace 2007 has received Cleaner & Greener certification from Leonardo Academy, a non-profit environmental consulting group. The conference will also feature the IFMA Green Zone, an exclusive section of the expo floor reserved for those exhibitors offering environmentally friendly products and services.

World Workplace draws attendees from all over the world and from a variety of industries, including technology, engineering, architecture, design, security, real estate and facility management. IFMA expects more than 5,500 attendees at this year’s event and millions of dollars in economic impact for New Orleans.
