Weddings in Style Magazine Hosts “Garden of Eden”
Eco-Friendly Bridal Show at InterContinental New Orleans

New Orleans, LA --- On Sunday, February 10, 2008 InterContinental New Orleans will host the Weddings in Style “Garden of Eden” eco-friendly bridal show.

According to Martin Driskell, General Manager of InterContinental New Orleans, the InterContinental is pleased to partner with Weddings in Style to host this environmentally friendly event for New Orleanians and visitors alike.

“New Orleans is a very popular destination wedding location and we are thrilled to provide a venue for Weddings in Style to put on this innovative, eco-friendly bridal event,” Driskell said.

The “green” bridal event will take place at the InterContinental New Orleans hotel from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 10th. “Garden of Eden” will feature live music, an incredible couture gown display showcasing the latest designers, a cake pull, a honeymoon give-a-way and 100’s of prizes including photo and make-up sessions, cakes, flowers, romantic dinners and more.

According to Christine Breaux, Publisher and Editor-in-Chief of Weddings in Style magazine, the “Garden of Eden” Bridal Show complements the recent premiere of the bridal magazine’s first ever “green” issue.

“The event will be a “one-stop-shop” for brides-to-be looking for “fresh” ideas to create their perfect eco-friendly wedding. We have more than 100 vendors, live music, a runway room with all of the latest bridal fashions, door prizes, cake pulls and more – everyone will walk away with something,” said Breaux.
