NEW ORLEANS, LA., Nov. 10, 2016 - Three New Orleans Hotel Collection properties came in among the "TOP TEN" New Orleans hotels in the Conde´ Nast Travelers Magazine Readers' Choice Awards, which were announced on Oct. 20, 2016. The Collection hotels chosen included Hotel Mazarin, Hotel Le Marais and the iconic Bourbon Orleans Hotel. All six locally owned and operated Collection hotels exemplify the city's well known charm and hospitality. The three chosen in the readers' poll combine 19th-century ambience with 21st-century luxury in the heart of the historic French Quarter.

No other hotel company has multiple properties on the Top Ten list for the city. The recognition provided by this prestigious magazine for the hotels of the Collection highlights the authentic atmosphere, attention to service and carefully designed and maintained hotels of the group.

More than 168,000 travelers participated in the elite magazine's 29th annual survey, submitting millions of ratings and tens of thousands of comments. Readers responded to questions about hotel accommodations, service, food, ambience, decor, facilities, amenities, surrounding neighborhood and value. Conde´Nast is one of the world's foremost magazines for discriminating travelers, earning more editorial, design and business awards than any competitor.

The highly coveted award is also reflected in these hotels extremely strong ratings on Tripadvisor.com, a nationally recognized hotel rating system.

The Readers' Choice Award Winners for New Orleans include:

Hotel Mazarin. A Spanish Creole inspired hotel, with a central courtyard and renaissance fountain, the Mazarin boasts award winning catering, and two renowned bars, one, the home of the Krewe of Cork, the other a now famous traditional New Orleans Jazz bar. Guests receive complimentary continental breakfast, butler and turndown service. The hotel is a 10-minute walk from Jackson Square, St. Louis Cathedral and Royal Street's myriad shops and restaurants.

Hotel Le Marais is a 66-room boutique hotel that combines classic and modern influences. Its historic facade belies a modern, upscale sanctuary with four-star amenities and a high-level of personalized service. Arriving guests are offered a complimentary beverage or cocktail of their choice in the hotel's intimate bar, Vive!, as well as daily, complimentary continental breakfast. Guest rooms feature Wi-Fi, 42-inch, flat-screen TV, desks with ergonomic chairs, marble bath countertops, walk-in showers, bathrobes and plush pillow-top beds. Amenities also include a heated, outdoor saltwater pool and state-of-the-art fitness center. Many Hotel Le Marais rooms have balconies and French Quarter views in addition to being just a short distance from lively nightclubs, restaurants, art galleries and museums.

Bourbon Orleans Hotel offers the elegance of a European hotel paired with modern conveniences through a multi-million dollar renovation. The historic property is located just a short walk from St. Louis Cathedral, Jackson Square and Royal Street's antique stores, art galleries, and entertainment. In addition to fine accommodations, including junior and townhouse suites, many rooms feature balconies overlooking the cathedral garden and vibrant street scene. Guests can enjoy the heated, outdoor saltwater pool and 24-hour fitness center. Roux on Orleans offers Creole breakfast and dinner and specialty cocktails are poured at its Bourbon "O" bar.
