The idea of dressing smartly for lunch or dinner isn't just nice, it's a prerequisite for entry into two of the most iconic restaurants of this century: Brennan's in New Orleans and The Four Seasons restaurant in New York City. Before you're even seated in these respective dining rooms, their timeless elegance, impeccable service, sublime dishes, and distinct character lets you know you've arrived somewhere very special.

As the legendary Four Seasons is in the midst of relocating after 58 years at its Park Avenue address, the 1999 James Beard Award winner [Outstanding Restaurant] is taking the opportunity to partner with Brennan's restaurant in New Orleans, its peer at the pinnacle of the industry. For a rare collaborative "Pop-Up" dinner, the Four Seasons' colorful owner Julian Niccolini and chef Pecko Zantilaveevan are headed south to the award-winning Brennan's, to create a gastronomic experience that explores classic cuisine at its finest.

The special dinner-only menu will present a preview of some of the new dishes planned for the reopening of The Four Seasons restaurant, as well as a selection of their signatures - Crispy Shrimp, Cremonata, and Mustard Fruit  Nantucket Bay Scallops with White Truffle  Bison Tournedos with Pommes Anna, Roasted Mushrooms, Shallot Confit and Black Truffle Sauce. Brennan's will complement the menu with beloved favorites of its own - Turtle Soup  Crab and Green Papaya Remoulade with Louisiana Jumbo Lump Crabmeat, New Orleans-grown Green Papaya, and Satsuma Dressing  Filet of Beef Stanley with Parmesan Herb Roasted Bananas, Porcini Mushrooms, Horseradish Yogurt, and Sauce Perigourdine. Patrons may choose from the à la carte dinner menu, mix-and-matching from the six appetizers, six entrées, and three desserts offered by each restaurant. That's collaboration! The divinity is in the details, with each diner's enjoyment placed center-stage.

Ralph Brennan, a third-generation member of one of the nation's most dedicated restaurant families, has taken the helm of Brennan's with his partner Terry White, himself a ninth generation New Orleans native, and together, they've established an extraordinary dining experience rooted in the gracious traditions of New Orleans. As the birthplace of the celebrated Bananas Foster, Brennan's has continually garnered acclaim for over seventy years; in 2016, executive chef Slade Rushing was honored as a finalist for "Best Chef: South" from the James Beard Foundation.

This is the first time ever that the Four Seasons or Brennan's has stepped beyond its respective city to extend hospitality and fabled fare. Those attending these special menu dinners between February 8 and 11 will receive a commemorative coin, inscribed "In Brennan's We Trust, In The Four Seasons Restaurant We Live." This Golden Doubloon will extend Champagne for Life! privileges for each guest - with one complimentary glass of select champagne during visits to either restaurant. And that's for a lifetime!

These two renowned restaurants are a true match, as they mirror values that strive for excellence in service, cuisine, and atmosphere. The equation is an extraordinary pairing: a larger than life experience with a personal touch. For reservations and information on the special dinner series, Wednesday, February 8 - Saturday, February 11 2017, please visit www.brennansneworleans.com or call Brennan's restaurant directly at 504.525.9711.
