BRAVO will host When the Stars Align, three spectacular evenings celebrating luminaries of New Orleans' philanthropic community among the artists of Stars of American Ballet, who will return to the New Orleans stage for an encore performance on March 18 at the Mahalia Jackson Theater as part of the NOBA's Main Stage Season of Dance. Attendees can expect more of the luxurious treatment, fun and creativity that have become the signature of BRAVO's annual gala events!

WHY
Through its When the Stars Align gala and other various fundraising events, the Ballet Resource And Volunteer Organization (BRAVO) provides critical support for the New Orleans Ballet Association's award-winning youth programs and the presentation of world-renowned dance companies on New Orleans stages. BRAVO's fundraising activities help NOBA provide more than 5,500 tuition-free dance classes and after-school activities at numerous community sites, as well as scholarships for advanced study and guest artist residencies.

HOW
This glamorous three-night event will kick off at the elegant Windsor Court Hotel on March 8, featuring a spectacular seated dinner and a treasured gift provided by Lee Michaels Fine Jewelry. On March 17, patrons and the world-renowned dancers will be transported to Old Hollywood at the Roosevelt Hotel New Orleans. Hot off of her acclaimed portrayal of Marilyn Monroe at the WWII Museum, Courtney Anderson and WDSU News' Travers Mackel will begin the red carpet treatment as celebrity greeters, while Bryan Batt will lead the festivities as Master of Ceremonies. The night will also include a patron party with champagne, Sazerac cocktails, and appetizers, a delectable three-course menu inspired by recipes of New Orleans' top chefs, entertainment by dance music paragon Deacon John & the Ivories, a raffle, a silent auction, and more! The three-night festivities will conclude on March 18 with Stars of American Ballet's main stage encore performance at the Mahalia Jackson Theater. The evening performance will include an exclusive wine reception at intermission.
