New Orleans, LA (March 16, 2017)- For 26 years, Café Beignet has been operating in the French Quarter with two locations. Now, the franchise has announced a third location on Decatur Street. The restaurant opened on February 23, 2017. It is located on the first floor of the JAX Brewery at 600 Decatur St. and the corner of Toulouse Street.

The new location will be complete with a 48 foot fully functioning bar and live jazz. It will also eventually have a to-go window serving café au lait and orders of beignets for walk up customers. It comfortably seats 90 inside and has a small outdoor seating area as well. Breakfast and lunch will be available.

The beautiful build of Café Beignet features mahogany paneling and bar, large mirrors, tile floors, large French windows and doors, bright lighting and a signature lighted Café Beignet arch. The café was designed by John Williams Architects and built out by Joseph Labadot Construction Company.

Each Café Beignet has its own personality to suit its location. The Royal Street restaurant, a converted 1800s carriage house, provides a French bistro atmosphere with an indoor café and small courtyard, perfect for strolling pedestrians to stop by. Café Beignet at Music Legends Park, located on Bourbon Street, is an outdoor café with live music and a fully functioning bar opened later to suit the typical crowd.

"Decatur Street is the perfect spot for the new restaurant," says Gordon Stevens, one of the owners of Café Biegnet. "We hope that it will fall in stride with the hustle and bustle of busy Decatur Street, featuring a bar live music, and eventually a to-go window. We hope to attract local customers and tourists alike, providing them with quick service throughout their day."

Breakfast and beignets are served all day. New Orleans Cajun Specialties and Fried Seafood Also Available. For more information about Café Beignet, please visit www.cafebeignet.com or call 504-524-5530.

Café Beignet first opened on 334 Royal Street in January 1990 followed by the location at 311 Bourbon Street many years later. Café Beignet is a cup full of New Orleans' best European traditions that feeds all the senses: where music and cuisine are the heartbeat of New Orleans. Customers have the option of a grand café setting both outside and in. Please visit www.cafebeignet.com for more information.
