###

About the band: A New Orleans-based group influenced by southern and rural song styles, the Sweet Olive String Band is known for vocal harmonies reminiscent of the country-brother duets of the 1930s and ‘40s. A four-piece ensemble, the band includes veteran performers Mike Kerwin (guitar and vocals), Pat Flory (mandolin, dobro, guitar and vocals), Rob Schafer (upright bass and vocals) and Jeff Burke (banjo, mandolin, guitar).

About the sponsor: The spring 2017 season of Concerts in the Courtyard is sponsored by AOS Interior Environments, a full-service provider of contract commercial office furniture, modular interior construction and storage solutions based in New Orleans. AOS is the largest furniture, fixtures and equipment contractor in Louisiana and Mississippi and has been partnering with their clients and the architectural community to create beautiful, functional and productive spaces for 40 years.
