A Sweet Surprise for Houston

Ralph Brennan Restaurant Group Pledged to Give Immediately

Hurricane Harvey's wrath on Texas and Louisiana is expected to leave behind billions of dollars in damages. The Ralph Brennan Restaurant Group knows all too well how to take steps at contributing and rebuilding. Twelve years ago, Ralph Brennan's city of New Orleans confronted the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina - the bottom line for Mr. Brennan is that companies need to embrace their civic duty to respond to disasters, especially when it is in their own backyard.

The employees at each of the Ralph Brennan Restaurant Group restaurants-Brennan's, Napoleon House, Red Fish Grill, Ralph's on the Park and Café b- wanted to immediately show a broader sense of good character and to be of assistance to New Orleans' sister city of Houston. They banded together over two days, September 2 and 3, 2017, encouraging every guest dining to have a very sweet ending! 100% of the proceeds of select, signature desserts and cocktails raised $10,303.00 for the Hurricane Harvey Hospitality Relief Fund administered by the Greater New Orleans Foundation.

"We are extremely delighted and grateful for the outpouring of sincere support we received this past weekend to contribute to the hospitality employees affected in the restaurant industry," says Ralph Brennan. "Restaurants are the cornerstone of a community and bringing back the stability of neighborhood gathering spot is essential for the people to flourish again."

Ralph Brennan Restaurant Group possesses the drive to bring people together, which fosters a sense of family that can be found in the New Orleans restaurant community that is hard to replicate elsewhere.
