Second Annual Bike Week Convenes in New Orleans May 5-9, 2010

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
May 4, 2010

Second Annual Bike Week Convenes in New Orleans May 5-9, 2010
Featuring Sammy Kershaw, Kyle Turley, Legendary Comedian Gallagher, Motorcycle Stunt Shows and the Chrome Kitchen

WHAT: Second Annual Bike Week New Orleans

WHERE: Riverwalk Lot and House of Blues New Orleans

WHEN: May 5-9, 2010

DETAILS:
The Second Annual Bike Week New Orleans will take place May 5-9, 2010, along the banks of the Mississippi River in the three-acre Riverwalk lot. Bike Week is a five-day festival and party for anyone who has a passion for motorcycles or just enjoys watching them.

Bike Week returns along with it the best in live music, motorcycle entertainment, local and industry vendors, great New Orleans cuisine and Broken Spoke bars throughout the festival grounds. Daily live entertainment includes the sounds of local favorites and national acts such as Bad Company’s former lead singer Brian Howe, country music’s Sammy Kershaw, former New Orleans Saint Kyle Turley, Legendary Comedian Gallagher as well as the unique Wayne Toups and the ZyDeCajun band, that will compliment the Broken Spoke’s own Ferrell Webber band.

The Chrome Kitchen is a three-day event that merges authentic food, local chefs and motorcycles and will include culinary contests and demonstrations. The Wall of Death features racing motorcycles and go-karts on the side of a vertical board wall where spectators are just inches away from the action on the high elevated platform. Everyone who purchases a three-day event pass is automatically entered to win the grand prize – a custom Bourget motorcycle.

Bike Week New Orleans is expected to attract thousands of motorcycle enthusiasts and generate millions of dollars in economic impact.
