National Funeral Directors Association Convenes in New Orleans October 10-13

WHAT: National Funeral Directors Association’s (NFDA) International Convention & Expo

WHERE: New Orleans Morial Convention Center (NOMCC)

WHEN: October 10-13, 2010

DETAILS: NFDA’s International Convention & Expo will take place October 10-13 for the first time at the Morial Convention Center in New Orleans. The conference and expo is expected to draw nearly 6,000 funeral directors, 345 exhibitors, mortuary science students and other allied professionals, generating more than $7 million in economic impact.

NFDA’s Convention features the world’s largest offering of workshops, seminars, networking events and exhibits to help funeral directors better serve families and develop strategies for success in an ever-changing marketplace.

NFDA is the world’s leading funeral service association, serving 18,500 individual members who represent more than 9,900 funeral homes in the United States and internationally. From its headquarters in Brookfield, Wisconsin, and its Advocacy office in Washington, D.C., NFDA informs, educates and advocates to help members enhance the quality of service they provide to families.
