East Jefferson General Hospital Presents Broadway in New Orleans
for the 2011-2012 Season
Hotel Monteleone, Zatarain’s and Cadillac also join sponsor lineup

New Orleans (May 9, 2011) – Broadway Across America is pleased to announce that East Jefferson General Hospital will be its title sponsor for the 2011-2012 Broadway season. Other sponsors for the season are Cadillac and Hotel Monteleone, each for the third consecutive year, and Zatarain’s as a first time sponsor. The 2011-12 season contains shows representing contemporary to classic, and includes:

“East Jefferson General Hospital is thrilled to present Broadway in New Orleans for the 2011-2012 season,” says Valerie Englade, vice president of community affairs at East Jefferson General Hospital. “Next year's lineup promises to be the most successful and entertaining year yet for Broadway in New Orleans. Most importantly, our relationship with Broadway Across America allows us to continue our mission of promoting wellness and preventive information to the entire region."

East Jefferson General Hospital is a not-for-profit community hospital that has served theGreater New Orleans region for 40 years. Recognized for excellence in cardiology, oncology, orthopedics, pulmonology and neuro-sciences, East Jefferson General Hospital strives every day to achieve its mission statement of providing the highest levels of comfort and care to the community.

“We are so happy to have Broadway Across America back in New Orleans for a third season,” says David Skinner, general manager of the Mahalia Jackson Theater for the Performing Arts. “New Orleans has risen as one of the top cities in the United States for professional touring theater, and this success is only made possible with the support from sponsors like East Jefferson General Hospital, Cadillac, Hotel Monteleone and Zatarain’s.”

He adds, “We are once again pleased to partner with New Orleans Theatre Association, which is dedicated to theater and music education. With NOTA, which has been our partner since we returned to New Orleans two years ago, Broadway Across America reaches out to those nonprofit organizations dedicated to furthering theater in the Greater New Orleans Area.”

Five-show East Jefferson General Hospital Broadway in New Orleans season ticket packages are on sale now, and prices start at $128. For more information, patrons can visit BroadwayInNewOrleans.com or call the Broadway Across America Season Ticket Hotline at 1-800-218-SHOW (7469) during extended renewal hours of Monday - Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Season Ticket Holders enjoy the privilege of priority ticket opportunities, lost ticket insurance, and exchange privileges on their existing seats. A five-show season subscription is available at this time, and the prices start at $128 per season ticket. On-sale dates for single tickets to individual shows will be announced in the coming months.
