Southern Decadence Weekend with Message of Marriage Equality

NEW ORLEANS - On Thursday, September 1, 2011 Bourbon Pub & Parade Disco owner Sandy Sachs (pictured) will host the NOH8 Campaign Photo Shoot, by photographer Adam Bouska and partner Jeff Parshley. A studio will be set up on the second floor of the Pub opening up the opportunity for New Orleans residents and Southern Decadence visitors to join the campaign. According to Sachs, “The photo shoot will begin at 3PM and will continue until at least 6PM.” Sachs adds, “The Bourbon Pub is proud to support the goal for marriage equality and can think of no better way to kick off the revelry and festivities of Southern Decadence.”
Anyone that would like to join the NOH8 Campaign is asked to wear a plain white shirt to match the look of the signature photos. A solo NOH8 photo will require a fee of $40 per person while any group or couple photos will require a $25 fee per person in the photo. A digital copy of the final selection will be retouched and made available through www.NOH8Campaign.com
Funds raised by the charitable campaign are tax deductible and will be used to continue promoting and raising awareness for marriage equality and anti-discrimination.
