The Roosevelt New Orleans Hotel Introduces Rooftop Cabana Packages for Hotel Guests and Locals Looking for Poolside Luxury
Hotel Offers Great Way to Cool Down

NEW ORLEANS, La. – (July 18, 2011) – The Roosevelt New Orleans, a Waldorf Astoria Hotel, brings a new level of luxury to poolside relaxation with the introduction of cabanas and cabana packages at the landmark hotel’s “Rooftop at the Roosevelt” outdoor venue.

With incomparable views of downtown New Orleans and some of the city’s most interesting and historic structures, “Rooftop at the Roosevelt” now can accommodate groups of up to six New Orleans residents or hotel guests in any of three luxurious 12-foot by 12-foot canvas cabanas. Each features comfortable seating, a table for dining, a cabana-top fan, personalized service and other attractions. Rooftop at the Roosevelt is a perfect option for cooling down this summer offering cocktail service, great food and of course pampering from the Guerlain Spa at The Roosevelt, available upon request.

Two packages are available: Rooftop Cabana Package is priced at $90 for four hours between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. or 2:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m., with a $75 food and beverage minimum; or $175 for eight hours between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m., with a $150 food and beverage minimum. This package also includes an Evian Atomizer, water and fresh fruit.

The Luxury Cabana Package is priced at $120 for four hours between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. or 2:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m., with a $75 food and beverage minimum; or $225 for eight hours between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m., with a $150 food and beverage minimum. In addition, this package includes an Evian Atomizer, water, fresh fruit, a bottle of sparkling wine and two cold hors d’oeuvres.

Cabana guests also have access to the hotel’s pool, towels and other rooftop amenities. Rooftop at the Roosevelt otherwise is not available to non-guests of the hotel, which makes the cabana packages especially attractive. “Since our historic restoration and grand re-opening two years ago, we’ve looked for creative ways to deliver luxury experiences for not just our hotel guest but also for New Orleans-area residents,” said Tod Chambers, general manager. “Now, our cabanas are open to everyone so they can enjoy everything that has made The Roosevelt such a grand destination.”
