New Orleans Seafood Festival Set for September 9 - 11

NEW ORLEANS – The fifth annual New Orleans Seafood Festival celebrating the city’s culture, cuisine and music will kick off Friday, September 9 at 4 p.m. in Lafayette Square.

The festival will run through Sunday, September 11 and is free and open to the public. All proceeds from the festival will benefit the Louisiana Hospitality Foundation.

The celebration will feature food from New Orleans restaurants including, ACME Oyster House, Arnaud’s, Café Giovanni, Drago’s Seafood Restaurant, Galatoire’s, Mr. B’s Bistro, King Creole and Red Fish Grill. Vendor booths will highlight original watercolors, photographs, jewelry and ceramics of local artists.

This year’s sponsors and the musical line up will be announced in mid-August. For more information, visit www.neworleansseafoodfestival.com.

The Louisiana Hospitality Foundation is a non-profit organization whose mission is to offer greater access to culinary education and arts, while providing support for the health and social welfare of children across the state. The LHF executes this through community outreach, children’s education, hospitality industry financial assistance and benevolence. For more information, visit www.louisianahospitalityfoundation.org.
