THNOC Announces Fall 2011 Concerts in the Courtyard Series

WHAT: Concerts in the Courtyard

New Orleans Musicians Assistance Foundation

WHEN: Friday, Sept. 16, with Shamarr Allen & the Underdawgs

Friday, Oct. 21, with Meschiya Lake & the Little Big Horns

Friday, Nov. 18, with Tin Men

Each concert is held from 6 to 8 p.m. Doors open at 5:30 p.m.

WHERE: The Historic New Orleans Collection, 533 Royal St., in the French Quarter

HOW: Admission is $10, free for THNOC members,* and includes three complimentary beverages. Guests must be 21 or older to enter.

*Memberships begin at $35 per year per household.

WHY: Now in its fourth year, Concerts in the Courtyard offers budget-friendly opportunities to enjoy a favorite New Orleans artist and beverage in a beautiful courtyard setting. The fall series opens Friday, Sept. 16, with a performance from Shamarr Allen & the Underdawgs and Lazy Magnolia beer and Avia wines from Southern Eagle. Admission is $10, free for THNOC members, and includes three complimentary beverages. All shows are held at 533 Royal St. The Collection’s exhibition and gift shop are open to guests during concerts.
