LRA Names John Eastman as Associate Member of the Year
METAIRIE, La.—The Louisiana Restaurant Association (LRA) is pleased to announce that it has named John Eastman, co-owner of Auto-Chlor Services in Jefferson, as its 2011 Associate Member of the Year. Eastman was honored at the 2011 LRA Awards Gala August 6, 2011 at the New Orleans Marriott.
Eastman volunteers his time in many capacities for the LRA and his company has been a member for more than 50 years. He is a trustee for the LRA Self Insurer’s Fund for workers’ compensation, a director for the LRA and a director for the LRA Education Foundation (LRAEF). Auto-Chlor Services annually contributes funds to the LRAEF and its ProStart® program, which prepares high school students for a career in the culinary and hospitality industries.
“John readily gives of his time to every endeavor of the LRA and we are thankful to him, his brother Perry and current Auto-Chlor CEO Perry IV for their continued support,” said LRA Chair Tommy Cvitanovich. “Their commitment to the LRA and our industry is legendary.”
