William M. Smith Jr. to be featured in Windsor Court Art Showcase Series

NEW ORLEANS, LA. - On October 11th from 6-8 pm, the Windsor Court will host William M. Smith Jr. as part of its monthly Art Showcase Series. A native of Natchez, Mississippi, Smith produces paintings, plaques and giclees, which are images generated from high-resolution digital scans and printed with high-quality inks onto canvas, fine art and photo-base paper. The Art Showcase series will feature displays of a variety of Smith's works.
With support from the Arts Council of New Orleans, the Windsor Court highlights a local artist monthly. Complimentary cocktails and hors d'oeuvres will be served. RSVP is requested and can be made by calling 504.522.1994. For more information, click here.

The Art Showcase Series at the Windsor Court will occur on the second Tuesday of every month from 6-8 pm. Visit the Windsor Court website for upcoming artists.

About Windsor Court Hotel

The Windsor Court Hotel (www.windsorcourthotel.com) was developed by New Orleans businessman James "Jimmy" Coleman Jr. in 1984 and was recently purchased by a new ownership team led by The Berger Company of New Orleans. The hotel is a 23-story landmark that includes the acclaimed Grill Room Restaurant, Polo Club Lounge and Le Salon. Windsor Court Hotel is the only hotel in New Orleans, and in all of Louisiana, to receive both the coveted Forbes (formerly Mobil) Four Stars and AAA Four Diamond designations. In 2010, Travel + Leisure ranked the Windsor Court #32 in its annual listing of the "Top 50 Large City Hotels in US/Canada." It was the only hotel in New Orleans to make the list. The hotel also earned a spot on Celebrated Living's 2010 Top 20 US Mainland Hotels and Condé Nast Traveler's coveted "Gold List" for 2010. Throughout its history, the Windsor Court has been the choice for discriminating travelers visiting New Orleans, from world leaders and royalty to professional athletes, business leaders and other celebrities.
