Tastings at the Track Wine Series
Concludes its 2011 series with a Holiday Bubbly Bash!
NEW ORLEANS (Tuesday, October 18, 2011) - Fair Grounds Race Course & Slots, located at 1751 Gentilly Blvd., concludes its "Tastings at the Track" wine tasting series for 2011 on Thursday, November 17 with "A Bounty of Bubbles: From Champagne to Prosecco". Held in partnership with Dorignac's Food Center, this special Holiday Bubbly Bash will feature 65 top Champagnes and sparkling wines from around the world, plus gourmet cheeses and light hors d'oeuvres for $30 per person. The casual tasting will be held from 6 to 9 p.m and will also offer live entertainment by The Yat Pack. Tickets are available at Dorignac's (710 Veterans Blvd in Metairie) and, if not sold out, will be sold at the door.
Held in the Fair Grounds 4th floor Clubhouse, the reception-style tasting will also feature a selection of desserts and gourmet cheeses, and wine experts who will answer wine-related questions.
