Michael DeZura Named General Manager of the New Hotel Mazarin Part of the Nwe Orleans Hotel Collection

NEW ORLEANS, La., November 21, 2011 - The New Orleans Hotel Collection has recently announced the appointment of Michael DeZura, as General Manager of the new Hotel Mazarin (formerly the Saint Louis Hotel). The position is also responsible for daily supervision of the Hotel Le Marais, where DeZura was most recently Hotel Manager.

In changes recently brought about with the promotion of Mr. Bill Bacelieri to the position of General Manager of the Crowne Plaza New Orleans Airport, New Orleans Hotel Collection Area Managing Director Craig Hulford announced today the promotion of Michael DeZura.

DeZura brings a strong dedication to community leadership, serving on the board of the French Quarter Business Association in New Orleans. He is currently the president the Trianon homeowners association. In 2011 DeZura was named to the "40 under 40" list of young New Orleanians to watch by New Orleans Publishing Group's City Business magazine.
DeZura earned a Bachelor's Degree from Southeastern Louisiana University, where he began in the hotel business, working as a desk agent to help pay for college.

"We're pleased with this opportunity to promote an imaginative and competent member of our staff to a position of greater authority and responsibility", said Area General Manager Craig Hulford of the New Orleans Hotel Collection. "Michael is a dedicated, hands-on manager, and the success of the new Hotel Mazarin - Diamond of the French Quarter as the premier luxury boutique hotel in the French Quarter will be well served by Michael's daily involvement".

About Hotel Mazarin
Hotel Mazarin takes its name from the famous European Diplomat and Catholic Pontiff, Cardinal Jules Mazarin. Cardinal Mazarin was a 17th Century Italian born statesman, gambler, aide- de -camp to French Royalty, a Machiavellian scholar and chief financial minister to Queen Anne, longtime Regent of France on behalf of Louis the XIV. A renaissance man, a great character and collector of wealth, Mazarin designed the Mazarin Diamond, collected jewels, was an avid reader, and a man of acclaimed wit. His reputation, once sullied, became golden again. His spirit lives on in the new Hotel Mazarin in New Orleans historic French Quarter. The completely renovated hotel evokes the "art de vivre" of the city, delivering a luxury boutique hotel stay to both leisure guests and business travelers in a comfortable and stylish retreat in the heart of the French Quarter. Located one-half block from Bourbon and Royal Streets, the hotel is ideally situated to the entertainment, dining, shopping and cultural offerings of America's favorite city. The newly designed 102 -room French Quarter hotel creates an inviting and personable stay delivered in historical elegance with modern hotel conveniences. Signature amenities include complimentary Wi-Fi, in-room coffee and bottled water; breakfast and newspapers; a lush semi-tropical private courtyard; welcome refreshment; fitness center; business center; & wine bar. Hotel Mazarin is owned by 730 Bienville, LLC. The principals of 730 Bienville, LLC, Joseph A. Jaeger, Jr. and Wayne Ducote are committed to the recovery of New Orleans and the further strengthening of the New Orleans hospitality industry.
