LRA-Greater New Orleans chapter announces the We Live to Eat "Dig In" Photo Contest Winners

 METAIRIE, La.-The Louisiana Restaurant Association's (LRA) Greater New Orleans Chapter today announced the top winners of the We Live to Eat "Dig In" photo contest.

The contest ran January 23 - February 3, 2012 within the We Live to Eat Facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/WeLivetoEat) where consumers were encouraged to post a photo of their favorite New Orleans restaurant entrée for a chance to win round trip airfare for two from American Airlines and other prizes. Contestants encouraged their social network to click "like" on their picture inside the contest page. And the people voted!

 

Grand Prize, awarded to Donovan Fannon.

Two round-trip coach class American Airlines airfare vouchers.

His winning photo was of the Gambino sandwich at Cochon Butcher in New Orleans.

Second Place, awarded to Tree.

One $100 gift card to a New Orleans-area restaurant.

Third Place, awarded to Steve Hatley.

One We Live to Eat prize pack.

"The campaign was a lot of fun and got exciting near the end of the voting period. We were pleased to receive so many entries and are excited about the new people that engaged with the We Live to Eat campaign," stated Octavio Mantilla, partner in the John Besh Restaurant Group and the LRA GNO Chapter Communications Committee Co-Chair.
