Gospel Extravaganza at Audubon Zoo "Get Yah Praise On" February 25, 2012
Audubon Zoo in New Orleans presents its fourth annual "Get Yah Praise On". It's a hand clapping, foot stomping, spirit-filled gospel music experience, featuring the sounds of local artists Tara Alexander and Collage III. This gospel celebration includes a live concert by international gospel artist Bishop Paul S. Morton, Sr. The event takes place February 25, 2012, at Audubon Zoo's Capital One Stage, 6500 Magazine Street, New Orleans. "Get Yah Praise On" is presented by The Bardell Company and Coaxum Enterprises, Incorporated, and is sponsored in part by Tabasco Brand Products.

The New Orleans Hornets add to the buzz at Get Yah Praise On!

- Honeybees appearance: 12pm - 2pm

- Black History Month coloring station
Black History Month Across Audubon
Every weekend in February visitors ages 5 - 17 can take part in a Black History Month scavenger hunt at Audubon Aquarium, Audubon Zoo, and Audubon Butterfly Garden and Insectarium. Participants seek out interesting facts about African American environmentalists, scientists and zoologists. Those who submit a complete Black History Month scavenger hunt sheet are eligible for a drawing to fin a FREE Audubon family membership.
