Lundi Gras and Mardi Gras day shows added to already stellar music lineup

WHAT: Mardi Gras at Irvin Mayfield's I Club in the JW Marriott New Orleans

In addition to its lineup of stellar music shows presented Wednesdays through Saturdays at 8pm, the I Club is expanding its schedule for the Mardi Gras holiday to include even more music for revelers to enjoy.

Endymion Saturday will feature the funkiest brass band in town, The Stooges Brass Band; The Iguanas will rock Bacchus Sunday; electrifying singer/songwriter, Mia Borders holds court on Lundi Gras; and the amazing Khris Royal & Dark Matter will close out Mardi Gras evening with an early 6pm show.

For locals traveling by car, street closures should not pose a problem, as select streets near the JW Marriott will be open allowing access to the I Club. The I Club, situated near the St. Charles and Canal Street parade routes, will serve as a rockin' respite for those wanting to take a break from the street crowds, but still enjoy the music, food and fun of the holiday. JW Marriott's Executive Chef, Chuck Subra, will be featuring a limited bar menu that will provide delicious sustenance, so that guests can continue to party the night away.
