All Hail Seafood Season at Zea Rotisserie & Grill
Limited time menu introduces new seafood dishes featuring bold flavors
New Orleans, LA (February 22, 2012) - There's no need to wait for Friday to eat seafood at Zea Rotisserie & Grill. Starting February 22 for a limited time, the restaurant is featuring its 2012 seafood menu with six appetizers and 10 entrees complete with fresh shrimp, oysters, tuna and salmon for lunch and dinner daily.
In addition to old favorites such as the Asian Almond Shrimp and Shrimp Breaux Bridge Pasta, Zea Rotisserie & Grill is adding new flavors to the menu with the Santa Fe Salmon Stack, a delicious mixture of fresh salmon and merliton in a ceviche style marinade with fresh avocado and drizzled with a red chili sauce and tortilla chips for scooping.
Seafood appetizers available include home-style favorites like Shrimp and Grits, three large buttermilk-battered shrimp lightly fried atop a hearty helping of roasted corn grits smothered with a classic etouffee sauce as well as ethnic-influenced dishes like the Asian Sesame Oysters laced with a soy ginger sauce, Asian chili glaze and a sprinkling of sesame seeds. Other seafood appetizers offered include the Oyster and Artichoke Soup, a cream-based soup loaded with poached oysters and artichoke hearts and the Cajun-inspired Gator & Grits with sautéed alligator tossed in a spicy Creole sauce atop creamy grits.
Patrons will also be able to choose from a number of seafood entrees, including classic dishes like the Seared Tuna Steak topped with orange basil butter and a ginger soy marinade; Southern Fried Thin Catfish served with hush puppies; and the Asian Tuna Salad with rare sashimi tuna, crispy noodles, sesame seeds and almonds in a peanut vinaigrette. Trout lovers will especially delight at the myriad of dishes, including a seared Pesto Crusted Trout; Bronzed or Grilled Rainbow Trout; and Trout Lafitte hardwood grilled with shrimp tossed in a spicy cream sauce.
Other entrees featured on the 2012 seafood menu are the Balsamic Salmon, which is hardwood grilled and topped with a sweet balsamic glaze and the Grilled Gulf Fish with Shrimp Etouffee. In addition, patrons are given their pick of two enticing sides with most entrees. Available sides include Zea Potatoes, Thai Snap Beans, Steamed Broccoli, Buttered Sweet Potatoes, Red Beans, Sugar Snap Peas, Roasted Corn, Roasted Corn Grits and Braised Cabbage.
The 2012 seafood menu will be available starting February 22 for a limited time at participating Zea Rotisserie & Grill locations.
