New location, ticket levels and restaurants

WHO: Lakeview Civic Improvement Association (LCIA) and Friends of Lakeview, in partnership with WGNO and NOLA38

This event is open to the general public.

WHAT: Second Annual Taste at the Lake, a celebration of food, wine, entertainment and community spirit featuring more than 35 fine restaurants and caterers from around the Greater New Orleans Area, an assortment of libations, and live music

WHEN: Saturday, March 24
6:00 p.m. - Opens to Patron Level tickets
6:30 to 9:30 p.m. - Opens to General Ticket holders

WHERE: Adjacent to Robert's Fresh Market
        135 Robert E. Lee
        New Orleans, LA 70124

WHY: LCIA and Friends of Lakeview have worked hard to rebuild the Lakeview community after Hurricane Katrina devastated most of the area in August 2005. Proceeds from Taste at the Lake will benefit the continued restoration of Lakeview including the "Lighting the Way" project at New Basin Canal Park.  Through this project, there are plans to add path lighting lining the walkways to ensure the safety of people using the park.

HOW: Tickets are $45 in advance and $55 at the door. People can purchase tickets by visiting www.tasteatthelake.com, www.wgno.com., Lakeview Grocery or any Robert's Fresh Market. Attendees must be 21 and older.

Taste at the Lake is sponsored by Banner Chevrolet. A new patron level has been added that includes special libations plus the 2011 and NEW 2012 Taste at the Lake Bunny Matthews poster! There are limited patron tickets available.
