Cool Zoo at Audubon Zoo, New Orleans,
Opens
Saturday, March 31, 2012!
Cool Zoo, the wild and wet splash park at Audubon
Zoo in New Orleans, opens for its second season on Saturday, March 31, 2012.
Cool Zoo is one of the top water parks New Orleans has to offer. It is the hot
spot for everyone to cool down at Audubon Zoo. Highlights include jumping water
spouts, a huge alligator water slide, a spider monkey soaker, water-spitting
snakes and more. There is shaded seating, family restrooms, a Snack N' Splash concession stand and The Cool Shop carrying a variety of summertime
necessities.
The splash park offers three different splash
zones with one area specifically for toddlers and younger kids. Cool Zoo is
located between the Gottesman Family Endangered Species Carousel and Embraceable Zoo. Visitors may exit the splash park
and visit all their favorite animals at the Zoo - their wristband will get them
back into Cool Zoo throughout the day. What a great way to see Audubon Zoo on a
warm spring or summer day!
