International CTIA WIRELESS® 2012 to Bring 40,000 Attendees & Expected Economic Impact of $47 Million to New Orleans May 8-10

CTIA-The Wireless Association® offers free registration to locals; keynote remarks by President Clinton; and Media Reception with Exhibitors

DETAILS: International CTIA WIRELESS® 2012 offers free registration to area business owners, educational faculty, staff and students when it convenes in New Orleans May 8-10, bringing together all industries advanced by wireless technology for intense business, learning and networking opportunities. International CTIA WIRELESS 2012 will draw 40,000 attendees, occupy more than 320,000 square feet of exhibit space featuring more than 1,000 exhibitors and host more than 1,000 journalists and media representatives, utilizing nearly every hotel in the city. This year's show is estimated to have an economic impact of more than $47 million.

The three-day conference will include exciting keynotes featuring CEOs and Presidents from AT&T Mobility, Cellcom, Electronic Arts, Federal Communications Commission, MasterCard Worldwide, Mozilla Corporation, Pandora, Spotify, Sprint Nextel Corporation, T-Mobile USA, Verizon Wireless and VISA, Inc., offering attendees the opportunity to hear from a wide range of mobile innovators on the issues and trends driving the wireless industry.

In addition, the New Orleans Convention and Visitors Bureau will host a special meet and greet reception for International CTIA WIRELESS exhibitors, attendees and media on Wednesday, May 9 from 3:30-4:30 p.m. in the Wireless Health Pavilion, located at the end of Hall G.

The last time New Orleans hosted International CTIA WIRELESS was in 2005.
