Friday, September 14

Tickets on Sale Now!
(New Orleans, La. )- Casting about for an evening of fun? You can stop fishing!

Make plans now to be at the Audubon Aquarium of the Americas on Friday, September 14 for Scales & Ales presented by Louisiana Seafood Promotion & Marketing Board to benefit the Aquarium's education programs and conservation efforts.

The third annual event features New Orleans cuisine from more than two dozen local restaurants, live music, raffle items and a unique opportunity to watch the stars come out over the Mississippi River. Guests are invited to enjoy the exceptional sights and sounds of Audubon Aquarium after dark.

Partygoers will shake their fins to local favorite Papa Grows Funk and Mingo Fishtrap of Austin, Texas. The bash will also include a performance by the New Orleans Sirens marching krewe and Fleurty Girl, Lauren Thom, will be the Master of Ceremonies. Scales & Ales patrons can enjoy Abita beers, including Amber and Purple Haze, along with specialty offerings such as Vanilla Doubledog, Pecan Harvest Ale and Barley Wine.

The party's extensive selection of beers are perfect for pairing with dishes from New Orleans favorite eateries including Galatoire's Restaurant, Antoine's Restaurant, Red Fish Grill, RioMar, Dish on Hayne, The Praline Connection, Huck Finn's Café, Acme Oyster House, Corky's Bar-B-Q, and Camellia Grill. With a focus on local ales and food, several of the dishes at Scales & Ales will be prepared with fresh Louisiana seafood.
