Oyster Festival

Oct 19-21

The annual Oyster Festival will be held on the grounds of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Violet. There will be music, fun activities, food and, of course, oysters. On Friday the fair will be from 6:00 p.m. to 12 midnight; Saturday, from 11:00 a.m. to 12 midnight, and Sunday, from 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. Money raised will benefit the church.
