Audubon Aquarium Unveils its New Backstage Penguin Pass!
Visitors Get Up Close to One of Audubon's Beloved African Penguins

(New Orleans, La.)- Audubon Aquarium of the Americas is excited to offer a once-in-a lifetime, interactive opportunity to have a close-up encounter with an endangered African penguin. The Backstage Penguin Pass offers Aquarium visitors an intimate, hands-on experience with a penguin in Audubon's newly designed private penguin encounter with a member of the Aquarium's husbandry team.

Guests will learn about penguin natural history and how the Aquarium cares for the penguins in its collection. They will go behind-the-scenes and visit the Aquarium Prep Kitchen where food is prepared for many of the Aquarium's animals to learn about the special diets of penguins. Visitors will also receive a penguin painting created during the experience along with a photo to capture the unforgettable moment.

The encounters will be limited to 6 guests, 4 years old and above and all participants 16 and younger must be accompanied by an adult chaperone (21 or older).
