THNOC announces fall 2012 Concerts in the Courtyard series lineup

WHO: The Historic New Orleans Collection

WHAT: Concerts in the Courtyard

WHEN: Friday, September 21, with Paul Soniat

             Friday, October 19, with the Palmetto Bug Stompers

             Friday, November 16, with Jayna Morgan & the Sazerac Sunrise Jazz Band

          Music: 6- 8 p.m.* Doors open at 5:30 p.m.

WHERE: The Historic New Orleans Collection, 533 Royal St., in the French Quarter

HOW: Admission is $10, free for THNOC members,* and includes three complimentary beverages. Guests must be 21 or older to enter.
*Memberships begin at $35 per year.

WHY: Now in its fifth year, The Historic New Orleans Collection's Concerts in the Courtyard offer an affordable happy-hour experience with live, local music in a beautiful French Quarter courtyard. The fall series opens Friday, September 21, with a performance by pianist Paul Soniat with guitarist John Rankin. Admission is $10, free for THNOC members, and includes three complimentary beverages. (Beverages will be announced at a later date.) All shows are held at 533 Royal St. The Collection's exhibition and gift shop are open to guests during concerts. Admission to Concerts in the Courtyard is $10 for the public, free for members of The Collection, and includes three complimentary cocktails. Memberships begin at $35 and are valid for one year. Guests must be 21 or older to enter. Capacity is limited and the event is designed for a standing audience. Outside chairs, food and beverages are not permitted on the premises.
