Komen for the Cure New Orleans, is sponsoring the 1st annual English Turn Gives Back Breast Cancer Community Walk on Sunday, October 14, 2012 at 8:30 a.m. Supporters will gather at the Clubhouse parking lot (1 Clubhouse Drive) for a 5k run/walk through the beautiful English Turn neighborhood, followed by a 1k walk that begins at 9:00 a.m. for those who prefer the shorter scenic route.

English Turn residents and breast cancer supporters everywhere are welcomed to participate in this first-time event. Registration is $15 Adults/$10 Kids (18 and under) until Saturday, October 6. Late registration is $25 Adults/$15 Kids. All participants will receive a commemorative T-shirt. An after party will also be held on site, featuring food, music and fun for everyone.
