Oak Alley Plantation Fall Arts & Crafts Festival

7th Annual Fall Arts & Crafts Festical
Saturday, October 20 & Sunday, October 21, 2012
 

Vacherie, LA - Saturday, October 20 from 9am - 5pm & Sunday, October 21 from 9am - 5pm What better way to spend a Spring day than at one of the most spectacular settings in the south, visiting more than 170 booths of juried artists and crafters from throughout the United States. Talented artisans showcasing garden & folk art, yard ornaments, stained glass, Louisiana Mud Painti ngs, pen and ink drawings, watercolor prints, copper fountains, sculptured resin dolls, wind chimes, scented oils and candles, bird feeders, aromatherapy wraps, gourmet jellies & pickles will be on display for sale. And of course, we will have on hand original and handmade creations such as jewelry, furniture, clothing, home accessories, paintings, photography, pottery, wooden crafts and toys items such as travel from as far away as Missouri and South Dakota, to as close as Mississippi, Florida, Texas, Alabama, Arkansas and of course from Louisiana. Oak Alley pride's itself to providing a quality show with unique, handmade items that have been juried ensuring the best of qualities. Categories are limited to ensure a variety of great merchandise!

You will also find unique Fall and Christmas items. And don't forget, for all those sports fans we will have plenty of LSU and Saints memorabilia!

Fun for the Entire Family
As always we structure the festival with activities for the entire family to enjoy. The kids will have as much fun as the parents. Our petting zoo and pony rides have been a favorite for years. The amazing EuroBungy trampoline flings you 25ft in the air as you jump and flip on the inflated trampolines. The extreme air power jump, truly gives you the sensation of being weightless. It's 100% safe and 200% fun. Experience the adrenaline rush of a bungee jump, as you perform gravity-defying moves. There is face painting, jewelry making, sand art and much more to keep them busy.
