Event to take place Saturday, Nov. 17, at a new location in the Warehouse District

WHY: The Historic New Orleans Collection is proud to return as a sponsor of the New Orleans Bookfair and Media Expo, taking place Saturday, Nov. 17, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Now in its 11th year, the annual event celebrates authors, publishers and books created in New Orleans and the surrounding area. In addition to sponsoring the event, The Collection will have a table featuring its recent publications, including "Ernie K-Doe: The R&B Emperor of New Orleans," as well as information about membership and upcoming events.
No admission is required to attend the event, which will take place at a new location this year: 725 Magazine St. in the Warehouse District, right across the street from the Crescent City Farmer's Market. Other participants in the 2012 New Orleans Bookfair include Antigravity Magazine, University of Louisiana at Lafayette Press and Crescent City Comics, among other local publishing ventures.
