FRENCH MARKET'S 30^TH ANNUAL MASK MARKET AND NEW "MARDI GRAS MARKET" WILL BE HELD FEB 8-11^TH, 2013\ 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Event Overview:  Mask vendors from around the country will sell their wares in tents alongside the French Market, and local artists will sell costumes, masks, and handcrafted Mardi Gras items.  The Farmers and Flea Markets will be open for business as usual (with some specialty items), and the entire two block area will be a festival atmosphere, with live music on the Farmes Market Stage, additional  food vendors, and a special Lundi Gras celebration, "Fat Monday at the French Market", which will include secondlines and brass bands performing throughout the day plus special children's activities, in addition to the Mask Market and related Mardi Gras Market vending.
