Local talent and regional favorites will be featured on two stages in City Park

New Orleans, Louisiana- Hogs for the Cause, named one of the Top 10 BBQ Festivals by delish.com, has announced its music lineup for its two-day event, March 22 - 23, 2013. Set against a backdrop of live oaks draped with Spanish moss, Hogs for the Cause will feature two stages on City Park Festival Grounds. Gates open to the public at 10:30am on Saturday, March 23rd and close at 10pm. Since 2009, Hogs for the Cause has continued to evolve and grow, with an expanded calendar of events for the 2013 experience. "After a wildly successful event last year, we are extremely proud to bring a nationally recognized music lineup to the event this year," states Becker Hall, Co-Founder. "By securing these crowd favorites we are in essence securing more funding for the families we endeavor to help. It is a win-win for everyone in attendance!"

Hogs for the Cause 2013 Music Lineup:

·     Robert Randolph and the Family Band featuring Anders Osborne
·     Lee Fields and the Expressions
·     Mississippi Rail Company
·     Lost Bayou Ramblers
·     Eric Lindell

"Spanning over two days, the fundraising efforts allow for better fulfillment of our mission that ‘Together We Can Do Something Great'," states Hogs for the Cause Co-Founder Rene Louapre, who expects crowds as large as 30,000. Tickets can be purchased in advance on the Hogs for the Cause website (http://www.hogsforthecause.org/) beginning Friday, January 18 at 4:30pm, CST.
