What is Bicycle Share?
Bike Share is a network of bicycles and automated kiosks that allow users to make short trips (1 to 3 miles) quickly, conveniently and affordably. A small bicycle share system would have a profound impact on improving New Orleans' transportation network, and for those people who don't own bikes, it's a great way to get to your destination points in a healthy, comfortable and convenient manner.

What is Bike Valet?
Like coat-check, but for bikes!  Bike Easy's Bike Valet Program has been seen all over New Orleans at festivals and events.  Come ride to the NFL Experience and leave your bike safe and secure with us.  It's the hassle-free and easy way for event-goers to come festivals, makes you feel like a VIP just for riding to the event, and it's absolutely free!

ABOUT BIKE EASY

Bike Easy (formerly The Metro Bicycle Coalition) is a local 501(c)3 nonprofit dedicated to making bicycling easier, safer and more fun in Greater New Orleans.  New Orleans currently ranks sixth in the U.S. for bicycle commuters. The city now has 50 miles of bicycle routes installed with an additional 30 miles scheduled for installation by the end of 2013. Such progress would not be possible without Bike Easy positive working relationships with the Department of Public Works and the City Council. Bike Easy hopes to one day transform New Orleans into the most bicycle friendly city in America.

WHY BECOME A MEMBER?

Membership supports the Bike Easy's goal to improve bicycle safety through education and advocacy. We advocate for the inclusion of bicycle and pedestrian infrastructure in road projects, ensuring the implementation of recommended policies and actions in the New Orleans Master Plan, and promoting bicycling as a fun and safe means of transportation and recreation across the area.  Learn more about the perks of membership at: http://bikeeasy.org/support/membership/
