"The most vital and necessary work we do at Southern Rep Theatre is creating programs that develop and support our local playwrights. Our goal is to nurture and provide outlets for the very talented playwrights that are in our great city. The 6X6 Play Slam, and now 3X3, were created to get writers writing-and it works. The 6X6 Play Slam and DEBAUCHERY by Pat Bourgeois, a monthly NOLA soap opera, just celebrated their two-year anniversaries. Audiences are hungry for new plays in New Orleans!"
                                               --Aimée Hayes, Producing Artistic Director

3X3: THE ONE ACTS will feature:

WHAT A KNIGHT! by Pat Bourgeois.  Directed by Jessica Podewell with Jennifer Lindsley, Michael P. Sullivan and Matthew Mickal.
Cassie anxiously anticipates her blind date with Robert, but what ensures could not be foreseen or even imagined.

RECONCILING CHRISTMAS by Madison Curry.  Directed by Sarah Zoghbi with Marie Lovejoy, Tari Hohn, Lucy Faust and Ian Hoch.
One woman's struggle with grief and her journey toward reconciling her painful relationship with Christmas.

THREE HOLES by Mike Harkins.  Directed by Fred Nuccio with Phil Karnell, Chris Marroy and Lisa Picone.
An unexpected guest arrives and takes more than coffee as a couple's marriage hangs in the balance.  A short comedy that answers all of life's little questions... or at least explains the title.

ENDIRA'S DEBT by Lisa Moraschi Shattuck.  Directed by Ashley Sparks.  Bed design by Jeff Becker with Jennifer Pagan and Becca Chapman.
Many years ago in a beautiful Latin country with a brutal history there is a key hidden inside a grandmother under the ground. Erindira and her child Rosalia struggle between freeing themselves or enslaving the other.
