Algiers Economic Development Foundation Release Dates for 2013 ‘Wednesdays on the Point" Summer Festival Series

NEW ORLEANS - Algiers Economic Development Foundation (AEDF) announces the dates for it's 2013 "Wednesdays on the Point" Summer festival series.  The annual concert series is held on the Riverfront in historic Algiers Point.  Festivals activities include music from Louisiana artists, top New Orleans cuisine & beverages, and a children's area.  This is the first year guests will enjoy the inclusion a craft village presented by local artisan vendors. All concerts are free and open to the public.

WHAT: Algiers Economic Development Foundation's "Wednesdays on the Point" Festival Dates Released

WHEN: Summer Festival Series will be every Wednesday, beginning June 5 through July 24 from 6-9PM
A special holiday show will be on Thursday, July 4, 2013, from 5-9PM just before the fireworks display on the Mississippi Riverfront. The exact dates are below:

LOCATION:
All concerts will be on the Riverfront at 200 Morgan Street, Algiers, LA 70114
Shows will be on the riverside of the levee located across from the Historic Algiers Courthouse

WHO:
Algiers Economic Development Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to bringing economic development to Algiers.
