WORK HARD PLAY HARD: THE APRIL FOOL'S EDITION

March 22, 2013

New Orleans--Southern Rep will be hosting WORK HARD PLAY HARD, a fundraiser and silent auction to help fund 3x3: THE ONE ACTS a playwrights' series that features one-act original works by local writers. The event will be held at Il Posto Café, 4607 Dryades Street on Monday April 1st, from 5pm-9pm. The concept for 3x3 grew out of Southern Rep's monthly 6x6 Play Slam (six ten minute plays by six playwrights) which has given playwrights, directors and actors a place to explore new work for more than 3 years. With 3x3, in its second year, these eleven playwrights take things a step further with each of them writing and developing one-act plays that are produced by Southern Rep.

The 3x3 Fundraiser Tickets are $10 at the door and include:

-An evening in the enchanted back yard of Il Posto with some of the grooviest artists in the city!

-Amazing music by Alexis and the Samurai.

-Country folk music to get low and slow to by The Tintypes.

-Ladies Arm Wrestling by NO LAW.

-A spread of gourmet treats by Il Posto and Chef Madison Curry. YUM!

-All you can drink wine and beer.

-Amazing raffle ticket items!
