6:30 pm - 8:30 pm
The American Sector Atrium at The National WWII Museum
Museum curator Larry Decuers will discuss favorite war movies, factual vs. fun. This presentation will cover what many consider the best World War II movies, from the propaganda pieces of the 1940s, the gritty combat films from the 50s and 60s to the more reverent works of the past two decades. Clips from the movies Air Force, The Sands of Iwo Jima, 12 O'clock High, Kelly's Heroes and many others will be shown.
Dinner with a Curator is a seasonal series where Museum staff and guests will discuss a featured topic related to World War II while enjoying a delicious three-course dinner catered by Chef John Besh's American Sector. Space is limited and reservations are required. To see a schedule of topics or make a reservation, visit http://www.american-sector.org/ or call 504-528-1944 x 213.
