Utilizing staff, volunteers and outside contractors, the Museum has undertaken a substantial number of restoration projects since opening in 2000. Restorations include several airplanes, two boats, three armored vehicles and numerous other vehicles and artillery pieces. Each of these pieces has a fascinating story complete with unique challenges and triumphs. Hear these stories from Director of Collections and Exhibits Tom Czekanski.
Dinner with a Curator is a seasonal series where Museum staff and guests will discuss a featured topic related to World War II while enjoying a delicious three-course dinner catered by Chef John Besh's American Sector. Space is limited and reservations are required. To see a schedule of topics or make a reservation, visit http://www.american-sector.org/ or call 504-528-1944 x 213.
