FOC SPRING FUNDRAISER SUNDAY, MAY 19th

Presented by Friends of the Cabildo

 

New Orleans, LA - Friends of the Cabildo, the support organization for the Louisiana State Museum, announced its 2013 Spring Fundraiser, a French Quarter Courtyard and Home Tour, set for Sunday, May 19th from 4-7pm. Guest will be able to visit courtyards and homes within the lower section of the French Quarter as well as taste wines at Madame John's Legacy (632 Dumaine Street). Also included with the ticket price are Madame John's Legacy Architectural tours and The Palm, the Pine and the Cypress: Newcomb Pottery of New Orleans exhibit tours hourly.

  • Sunday, May 19th
  • 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm
  • Self-Guided Tours begin at the 1850 House at 523 St. Ann Street on Jackson Square and are available to purchase in advance. Ticket sales to end at 6:00 pm.
  • Maps will be provided to ticket purchasers at the 1850 House Museum Store
  • $40 per person, $30 FOC members. Couple Price $60, $45 FOC members
  • Tickets can be purchased online at www.friendsofthecabildo.org or the day of the event at 1850 House Museum Store
  • Parking will be available at a reduced rate at the Premium Parking Garage at 535 Chartres Street

Friends of the Cabildo is a private non-profit volunteer group that provides financial and volunteer support for the Louisiana State Museum, its projects and its property. Since incorporating in 1956, the Friends of the Cabildo has grown into a large statewide membership organization, a dynamic and motivating force in broadening and supporting the aims of the Louisiana State Museum.
