The Roosevelt New Orleans will celebrate Mother's Day with a book signing by local authors and personalities-Dianne de Las Casas and her daughter, Kid Chef Eliana.

Dynamic mother-daughter team Dianne de Las Casas and Kid Chef Eliana are celebrated authors and personalities. De Las Casas is an award-winning author of more than 20 books, an internationally known storyteller, and founder of Picture Book Month. Her children's titles include The Cajun Cornbread Boy, Madame Poulet & Monsieur Roach, There's a Dragon in the Library, The House That Witchy Built, The Little "Read" Hen and more. Kid Chef Eliana is a rising culinary star. Her weekly radio show, "Cool Kids Cook," on the Voice America network has more than 100,000 monthly listeners. Her first cookbook, Eliana Cooks! Recipes for Creative Kids, was released in 2010; her second cookbook, Cool Kids Cook: Louisiana, debuted this spring.
