Guide to the Tales of the Cocktail Festival

Drink it in! That's the theme for this year's Tales of the Cocktails event. Cocktails, spirits, liquors and aperitifs are the headliners of this mixology festival focusing on the knowledge and traditions of the cocktail, bartending and anything involving a drink.

The five-day event, held July 16–20, 2014, will feature a series of seminars, bartender competitions, "spirited" luncheons and dinners, free events and invitation-only events. Tasting rooms will have popular and up-and-coming liquor brands giving out samples of their latest concoctions while liquor specialists will be speaking on panels and hosting the event's seminars.

Don't miss the award ceremony for the sixteen different "Spirited Awards" representing the best in categories like "Best American Cocktail Bar," "World's Best Cocktail Menu" and  "American Bartender of the Year."
