We Live To Eat- Neighborfood Launches in New Orleans

An afternoon delight of food and community--NOLA Style!

New Orleans, LA - May 13, 2013 A neighborhood is often defined as the area or region around or near some place or thing. But is means so much more than that. Its means community, togetherness, pride and a celebration of everything that make your neighborhood special and unique.

New Orleans is made up of some many wonderful communities and the Garden District is no exception. So, Dishcrawl New Orleans invites you for an afternoon of food and fun as we explore several of the restaurants that make up this historic neighborhood's mystique.

On Sunday, June 30, we will visit 8 Garden District restaurants, all within walking distance. What better way to embrace a neighborhood than through its amazing food? "We have been so welcomed by the New Orleans community since our Inaugural event, this Neighborfood event is an opportunity to celebrate one of its finest neighborhoods and give back as well." said Dishcrawl New Orleans Ambassador, Kenniece Johnson. In fact, proceed from this event will benefit a few local charities.

From 2pm-5pm, neighbors will join for foodie exploration by purchasing tickets for $10 at dishcrawl.com/neworleans. This ticket includes admission, 1 food/drink ticket to redeem at a participating restaurant and 4 raffle tickets. Additional food/drink tickets can be purchased at sign-in.  There will be drink specials at various locations, as well. Dishcrawl will be partnering with partnering with local nonprofit organizations to provide an unforgettable dining experience that will help give back to the community we share.

About Dishcrawl:

Here at Dishcrawl, we are proud to say that we started off as a simple idea to explore different foods, restaurants, and neighborhoods in our local area. This idea has blossomed into who we are today, a company that is dedicated to re-imagining the way people experience food, drink, and their local communities.
