Fourth of July Dueling Barges Fireworks Show to Illuminate the Mighty Mississippi

New Orleans, LA - The Riverfront Marketing Group invites you to come down by the riverside to elebrate the 4th of July at the 23rd annual Go 4th on the River Dueling Barges Fireworks Show. This year's display is presented by Chevron, Versabar Inc., Zito Companies, New Orleans Tourism Marketing Corporation, Budweiser, and Home Bank and media sponsors ExperienceNewOrleans.com, Magic 101.9 and WWL AM, FM and .com, and WWL-TV Channel 4, plus seventeen other sponsors.

The Riverfront Marketing Group is proud to partner this year with Support Our War Heroes,
a Greater New Orleans-based 501(c)(3) organization whose mission is to assist military members in our region who sustained life-altering injuries in service in Iraq and Afghanistan. To make a donation, log on to www.SupportOurWarHeroes.org.

Selected as a TOP 20 EVENT by the Southeast Tourism Society, the 2013 celebration on the
historic New Orleans riverfront will feature the unique dueling barges fireworks show over the Mighty Mississippi at 9:00 p.m., which can be viewed from both sides of the river from the Riverwalk to the French Market.

Ranked by the American Pyrotechnics Association as one of the "TOP FIVE MUST-SEE
FIREWORKS DISPLAYS IN THE U.S.," this year's fireworks show will feature unique nautical
floating shells that when launched will land in the water creating a towering
glittering fountain of shimmering sparks and cascading color. Each effect will create
an incredible reflective presentation on the river's surface.

Bring your radios to the river as Magic 101.9, WWL 870 AM and FM, and WWL.com simulcast
the dynamic fireworks show choreographed to stirring patriotic music and heard in 38 states in the U.S.

Ample parking is available at Harrah's, the Hilton New Orleans Riverside, the French Market,
the Garage at Canal Place, and the JAX parking lots.
