Bourbon Orleans Hotel's Bourbon O! Bar brings Eudora Evans to Bourbon Street

A tried and true blues and jazz singer graces an infamous corner in the French Quarter

NEW ORLEANS July 11, 2013 - The Bourbon Orleans Hotel‘s signature Bourbon Street Lounge, Bourbon O!, has announced the regular appearance of a dynamic songstress at the bar located at the intersection  of Bourbon Street and Orleans Avenue in  the very heart of the French Quarter just behind Saint Louis Cathedral.

General Manager Mark Wilson announced this week that Eudora Evans will be singing regularly on Thursday evenings from 8pm and Friday evenings from 9PM.   Miss Evans voice is unique, soulful and unforgettable.  She has been featured at a number of music venues about town, including the Carousel Bar.

Eudora is a native of Arkansas, where she began her singing career at a very young age, helping her father, a Baptist minister at church.  Eudora's talents gained her entry to pageants up to and including the Miss Arkansas title, and a spot as a top ten semi-finalist with the Miss America pageant.  After competing for that title, she devoted her career to music and moved to New Orleans.

Eudora's passion is music, and performance, and her approach to the bluesy jazz she belts out allows her audience no time for boredom.

Eudora is performing at the "New "Bourbon O! Bar of the Bourbon Orleans, where manager Cheryl Charming has recently taken the reigns and has added several delightful new drinks to the menu and created an inviting atmosphere for guests to enjoy Eudora's performances.

Valet parking is available at the Bourbon Orleans Hotel, 717 Orleans Street.
