Filthy Linen Night - Saturday, September 14

FILTHY LINEN NIGHT - SATURDAY 9/14 - AN ART PARTY FROM MARKET TO MARKET
Frenchmen Art Market presents Filthy Linen Night, an art party linking Frenchmen Street and St
Claude, to celebrate the reopening of the St Claude night market and raise funds to light their lot.
Filthy Linen Night coincides with St Claude's regular 2nd Saturday gallery openings. A retro party bus
will run as a shuttle connecting Frenchmen and St Claude via the art markets. Filthy Linen goers can
enjoy the donation bars at the St Claude market, as well as at galleries on Frenchmen and St Claude.
Filthy Linen's inaugural night is sponsored by Pabst Blue Ribbon's great campaign www.pbrart.com.
Get on the bus at Frenchmen! St Claude Market is the first stop where Pabst will host a donation
beer station and Sailor Jerry Spiced Rum will also sponsor a pre-mixed cocktail bar at the market.
http://sailorjerry.com/the-rum. FLN's amazing sponsors will donate product for galleries to serve too!
Wristbands for the art bus will be $3 and can be purchased on event night from 7pm - 9:30pm.
Buy art from artists at Frenchmen market, St Claude market and participating galleries to get a free
wristband for the bus. Purchase wristbands at Hi-Ho Lounge, St Claude Market and galleries.
Yelp elite members get free wristbands at the Yelp table inside the Frenchmen Market.
Monies raised go towards lighting costs for the new community park at Independence and St Claude.
The party bus will run as a continuous shuttle from 8pm - 10:45pm. Bus starts at Frenchmen Art
Market and makes stops along the route. First stop: Night Art Market at Independence. 2nd stop:
Good Children gallery on Mazant Street. 3rd stop: Barristers Gallery across from the Healing Center.
Final stop will be the Hi-Ho Lounge on St Claude, looping back to the Frenchmen Art Market.
Bus riders can start or end their night at any stop! Last pickup on Mazant Street and St Claude will be
10:15 pm to head back to Frenchmen by 11pm. Frenchmen Street will continue the party at the
Frenchmen art market from 11pm to 1pm! Make sure you catch the last bus back to Frenchmen!
The art markets will raffle off additional prizes from PBR during the night to raise funds and have fun!
Hi-Ho lounge hosts a Live Mural Painting outside the bar, coordinated by artist Sasha Kopfler.
Too many awesome art openings, music, kegs, DJ's and happenings to list!
Participants include but are not limited to: Downtown Tattoo & Gallery, Meltdown Popsicles, DBA,
The Spotted Cat, Antenna Gallery, Barrister's Gallery, Scott Edwards Photography & more!
