ARNAUD'S RESTAURANT TO HOST SPEAKEASY DINNER TO CELEBRATE PROHIBITION ERA

Enjoy Five Course Dinner, Featuring European Wines from the Artisan Fine Wines Portfolio

Join Arnaud's Restaurant for its beloved Speakeasy Dinner, Thursday, September 26. Guests will enjoy a menu featuring five courses of Creole cuisine, consistent with the food from the Prohibition era, perfectly paired with a variety of European wines from the Artisan Fine Wines Portfolio.

Guests are encouraged to dress in 1920s attire and will receive access to the dinner only after learning the "secret knock," which will be emailed to guests the day prior to the event.

The menu will feature:

Crabmeat Ravigote

Fresh Louisiana lump crabmeat

Tossed with Arnaud's Creole Mustard, mayonnaise, capers and spices

 

Quail Consommé

Late summer corn and potato pearls

 

Brussels Sprout Salad

 Served with oregano-lemon vinaigrette and pine nuts

Red Fish Courtbouillon

Fresh Red Fish simmered in a rich hot house tomato purée with Gulf shrimp and oysters

 Served with jasmine rice

Baked Alaska

 

Tickets are $100 per guest, inclusive of tax and gratuity. For reservations, call (504) 523-5433. Limited seating is available.


Arnaud's Restaurant is located at 813 Bienville Street. For reservations and to view the entire menu, visit www.arnaudsrestaurant.com. The restaurant is open from 6 p.m. nightly. Sunday Jazz Brunch is served from 10:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
